So I'm very new to home theater. I'm 27 and just started purchasing my first components. I purchased a pair of CM1's to put up front. Well long story short, I was examining my speakers today and noticed a hole in one of the cones! Not sure what happened, in fact I'm a little baffled. My question is: Do I take the speakers back to the dealer as they are under warranty or do I attempt to fix them myself? I build stuff for a living so the actual job isn't intimidating. Voiding my warranty is. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm asking about an age-old topic, but I am still trying to understand it. How does the cone material impact the sound, in general, for a midrange or midbass driver?
I used to believe that "given all...-

by htsteveI'm planning to put an HT room in my basement. The area I want/need to put it in has a drain hole in the floor. The hole would be approximately behind the left front speaker. Not ideal, to say the least. In my 14 years in the house, nothing has come up from the hole. However, there are other parts...-

by gostanMy first post to Club Halo/Parasound is to request some warranty feedback. I am considering purchasing a used (less than 1 year old) Halo A51 amplifier. It would replace an Aragon 8008 (running my front B&W 803's) and a Rotel 1075 (running my center HTM1 and rear 805's). My pre-pro is a Rotel...-
