    What are my options? Tweeter Replacement.

    About 6months ago a friends child pushed in the tweeter cones on both my DM604S3. Horrible I know. :evil:

    I am finally getting around to replacing them as they have started to make noise (crackle) at high volume. What are my options?

    I do have a local B&W dealer I can go to if needed. Should I speak with them or order new tweets online and replace them myself?

    Thoughts?

      After some more reading I found the B&W online parts link.

      I will check with my local dealer and see if they can beat the online price for my tweeter.

              Your dealer won't likely beat the price for your tweeter they will however install it for you. It's really up to you if you want to do-it-yourself or have it done. Both have their merits

                  After reading... and reading... about MTM's and their crossover requirements, I've decided that I need the closest CTC spacing possible. And using a 1" tweeter isn't helping me much.

                  Since I'm using the W4's now, the upper frequency response is not a problem anymore. So a good option...
