    Need help with 683 !

Hi everybody, I've been lurking on this forum for a few years now. Used to have b&w dm603S3 for a while and recently upgraded to the 683. Love them with my Arcam receiver ;x( . However since I bought these speakers second hand, the previous owner lost the base (plinth). I'm currently at my father's place on "holiday" and I've decided to take the opportunity to built bases myself. I have the material and everything but I don't have the holes position ! I'm ready to drill the holes and complete them but I'm missing info!

Could anyboby please measure their 683 and tell me the dimensions based on the sketch below ? I'd like to finish them and not have to wait a couple more weeks to measure them myself...

(Please be kind with the way I write; I'm french canadian !)

P.S. I promise to post pictures of my system if someone helps me

Where are you located? I have brand new never used 683 plinths.... Hell, my dealer even throws them away for their demo speakers... If you where local to me, you can have mine. If not, I can take some measurements and pictures if you need. Personally I don't like the look of the plinths.

I'm probably a little up north ! I'm in Quebec , Canada. :E I'm not sure I'll like the look either, but my girlfriend is expecting our first baby and I'm afraid he could eventually tip the speaker... BTW if you could let me know the size of the plinth itself (lenght x width), That would be appreciated (and easier for you to measure).

      Thanks !!!

        Ok, here you go.

Let me know if you're interested in the stock plinths, I could send them for the cost of shipping.

              Looking for B&W 683 plinths
              by sjm560
              Hi everyone,
I just picked up a set of 683's but the owner no longer had the plinths. I was wondering if anyone here had some they would be willing to part with.
I would prefer not to use them like most, but with a new granddaughter around I can see the need for them.
              Thanks...

              B&W 683 Plinth / spikes question
              by jack667
Not sure how many of you have experience with the 683, but I was wondering why B&W advise attaching the plinth and spikes yet in the photo below (and every promotional photo I have seen) they decided to not show the plinth.

Obviously, I understand this is more than...

              by BWLover
OK, so you can see my system via my signature below. My system is in a carpeted basement. I've been playing a lot with my speaker placement. I had them on the spikes with no plinth, then with nothing at all, then with the plinth on w/spikes. What i noticed is that going from no spikes and the speakers...

              Hi !
I have few ideas on tuning my speaker setup. I would like to get your opinion on them. Do you think it makes sense? Do you think it may help or not? If some ideas seem to be good for you but there is something you would like to add? This kind of feedback I'm counting on.

How to. Trim veneer for speaker holes
              by KnightsOfNi
One questions asked many times on this forum is how to trim the veneer smoothly around speaker holes when the speakers are flush mounted.
The problem is, because the recesses can be as shallow as 0.100" or so, traditional flush trim bits do not work.
              So what are the options?
