will n802 work in this space?

This is the situation, I might have an opportunity to buy N802. My room is 13w by 17deep, 7ft. celling. This is dedicated HT with 135" AT screen. I have about 2ft behind the AT screen for speakers with treatment.
Will this work or will they sound bad?,
    Sony AT 150" 16x9 screen
    PSB T6,
    Velodyne SPL 1000R
    Rotel RSX-1057
    Rotel RB-1070
    OPPO 103
    Apple TV

    yourtoys7,

    I have 802D's in a 11' X 16' room with 7.5' ceilings. They sound great in there.

One note of caution, two feet behind the screen plus treatments doesn't sound like enough room. The N802's have the same dimensions as the 802D's, I believe. The speaker alone is about two feet deep. You also want it away from the wall to allow it to breath.

Do you have room on the side of the screen or maybe slightly in front on the screen?

Finally, the the N802's love current. The 1080 you have is a good amp to drive them. And the more you give them, the better.

    Hope this helps.

I'm redoing by HT room, the screen wall hasn't been build yet. I can make it bigger or just place them infront of the screen. Screen 120"/ 52" and the front wall is 156" wide, that leaves me with 36".
      For power I'm looking into Emotiva, either XPA-2, or XPA-1 X 2.

        yourtoys7,

My HT room is 11 feet wide and I have a 100" screen. My screen is on the wall so everything is in front. My 802D's are obviously in front of the screen. They are forward enough that I can get in some bass traps. What an improvement they made.

        Hope this helps.

          Hi all

I registered here to share my results with existing builders and future builders. The Statement 2s are great. Thanks to Jim and Curt for making this design available. Excellent results.

My build is fairly close to the build plan. The only deviations were adding an additional...

          by jteoh1
I’m not satisfied with the bass response of my current system in stereo. It seems weak and doesn’t seem to fill the room at low to mid volume. I’m looking for any ideas or suggestions on improving the bass response. My application is mainly 50/50 stereo music / multi-channel HT. Listening room...
