The 1.5 is a fine amp but it is by today's standards obsolete. Make certain that the amp doesnt have a power off feedback loop, my m1 has one and it blew one of my speakers.

      Hello,
I think this is my first post here, I have spent so many late nights on here reading every bodies ups and downs.

      Now my dilemma:

I thought I had lost the upgrade disease, but  I have been offered a great deal on a pair of DS7 (demos) my current...

Carver M 10t with the MKII upgrade for B&W?
      by Oldtexasdog
I have been looking at a Carver M 10t with the MKII upgrade. Has anyone had any experience with this amp? Will be driving a pair of B&W 705s 2 channel only for music with a Denon 2808 for the pre.
      Thanks as always

      Hi folks,

My father and I are new to the home theater systems. We recently came across a dealership who had discontinued its B&W line of speakers. They still have couple of older model of B&W speakers which they are still selling. They recommended us the following B&W speakers...

      by monster8p
I have an Onkyo TXDS-696 surround receiver, 100w.
I'm considering purchasing either used 705's and an ASW675 subwoofer,
      or used CDM9NT's.

Will the CDM9NT's be too hard to push with my Onkyo receiver? I've heard that the larger speakers can overpower lesser quality receivers...

      CDM9NT sounds BACKWARD
      by Alex Tang
It's again about my CDM9NT. Originally, I thought it is because of the amplifier or receiver that doesn't give enough power, so, I listen to people's advise and got a Rotel RB 1080. I can definitely hear improvement over my Denon receiver, sounds more solid, more bass, very clear, alot of detail,...
