Hard to tell. It is almost a sure bet that it is veneer. If you know or can find out the manufacturer of the speaker, the answer would most likely be found at their web site.
Off hand, I would guess Walnut. But with so many options available in veneers, I could easily be wrong.- Bottom

I recall seeing a few pairs on ebay over the last few months.
Rather "rare" (not as common as black etc) finish.
They were avail in teak, black ash, light oak, walnut and rosewood.B&W

by dsl1So I built my Statements and I love them. I am going to veneer them this weekend so I ordered some Walnut Flat Cut Premium 10mil paperbacked veneer from Oakwood which I have been told has nice quality stuff.
