    dented cm7 tweeter

Anyone know how hard it is to install the new tweeter? Tweeter was damaged on cm7 during a move. My dealer wants 350.00 labor to install it. Just want some opinions before I attempt it.

I'm a dealer and $350.00 sounds very excessive. I don't think it would be that hard to do yourself. I've not replaced a tweeter in a CM Series product yet but I doubt it's that hard. B&W wouldn't make it that hard from a manufacturing stand point much less a servicing stand point. Send an e-mail to tech support and ask them how it's done (or call but you will more than likely need to leave a VM as they are always busy). Best of luck and let us know how it works out.

How to replace a dented B&W CM-4 speaker tweeter diaphragm
          by bnieman
I just replaced my CM-4 tweeter diaphragm and thought others may benefit from my experience.

Here are my modified directions from Eric at B&W on how to disassemble the tweeter:

          1. Remove grille, remove the 6 silver posts that the grill attaches too. Simply unscrew these...

Loose diamond tweeter housing on 802D
          by mohawk155
          Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum as well as to B&W loudspeakers. I purchased a demo pair of 802Ds from my local dealer and I have the following "problem".

The tweeters are obviously setup to float on top of the midrange housing. The issue is that they...

DM603 S2 tweeter repair or cosmetic issue?
          by Tim Eagles
I have just had my eyes opened to the fact that removing my tweeters from a DM603 case would not be as hard as I thought, but from users experiences with bonked tweeters, or in this case, a childs delightfully directed poke on both tweeter domes, would you recommend disassembly and repair of what I...

Review of my new (used) CM7
          by stuofsci02
Last weekend I picked up a pair of used CM7 to put in my living room once I move my 804s down into my new listening room in the basement.

The CM7 are wenge, and were purchased new in 2008 (they are marked "Made in England) and are in flawless condition although they are missing the...

          Dent in Tweeter
          by NMyTree
I just got home from picking up my Wharfedale Evolution 10 speakers (in glossy piano black), which will be used as rear speakers in my Home theater; matched up with the Wharfedale Opus 2. Which by the way still haven't arrived and probably won't for another month or so.

          When I unpacked...
