    Simply Stunning CM7!

    B&W CM Black Lacquer

If I were in the market for an economical pair of high performance B&W's built from traditional cabinetry this would be the winner hands down. B&W also has a pair of 800D fashioned with the same finish. While I am not crazy about Black Ash I would consider trading in for a pair in high gloss black. The CM7's look gorgeous!

WOW! Is that recently announced by B&W as a finish option? Smokes the Rosenut I have that's for sure.

Beautiful. My FPMs are in a piano black finish and I love them. IMO speaker finishes are the biggest thing lacking in B&W speakers.

Wow! Nice contrast with the metal hardware and yellow Kevlar. I always liked the CM series classic design, but wasn't impressed with the veneer choices either. This adds a sharp look to a musical speaker.

          :T Two thumbs up! :T

Interesting I didn't know that the 800D came in that kind of finish very sleek.

Looks great, but... kind it looks like the older NHTs.

Any news on if this is going to be a shipping finish?

Lol, no way I love these 685!! I'm still blown away from these speakers.. just watched a movie today and imho thought the 685 with its bigger bass sounded much fuller than the 805S.

Only thing is that the tweeter on the 805S was much more brighter in a good way that I miss but other than that I'm not complaining about the tweeters on the 685 as I think its not overly bright but can be bright when it needs to be in a good way. The bass on the 685 is exactly the amount that I need/want for my relatively small room.

Pretty much my next pair of speakers in the future will be 803S or 803D (preferrably) and skipping everything in the middle.

Beautiful and great sound, Looks like piece of art. Only issue I could possibly see it having is lots of reflections(sound).
