It is very easy. First of all you must take out the midwoofer and then the tweeter and his connector. Unscrew the 2 screws at the tweeter, screw the new diaphragm and place the connector. :TOriginally posted by DM3000 OwnerHow do you replace a tweeter diaphragm on a Matrix 801?- Bottom

This is for the Matrix 3. I spoke to B&W and they said that it needs to be soldered. This is just the leads and should be very easy. Any thoughts?Originally posted by foruuIt is very easy. You can do it two ways. Both require removing the tweeter housing.

Apparently its a solder type which means the leads are likely
Anybody have swap out procedures on done it before, shouldn't be to hard-+-

How do I get into the tweeter house?
I hope someone can help and if so please let me know the steps I have to take to change the tweeter.

As many of you, the Matrix 801 were a dream from the very beginning, when falling into Hi-Fi clutches. Years have passed and finally I could bought a pair of 801 Series II second handed (white ones), while now I also got another pair of 801 (black ones), but in Series III....-
