    Its a wired world

    Hi people
I wondered if any one had any thoughts on which speaker cable would work well with my 804's and Lexicon RV8 receiver. The problem is that there in a dedicated room with the wires running around the room behind the skirting board, and this means I need 2 X 6.5m lengths, which works out very expensive.
What do you guys have and what are your thoughts on it.

    Regards

    Lee

        SB Acoustics SB17 - real world F3 ?
        by AVHead
        Hi,
I am seriously considering this driver for a 2-way MT BR speaker. Modeling this driver in WinISD and Unibox shows an F3 of about 40hz.
My question is - does that sound right ? or rather realisitic ? That much extension from a 6.5" - epecially 40hz - seems too good to be true....

A World Tour Of My Very Own
        by David Meek
I've come to the realization that for the past year or so, I've been focused so much on my work and remodeling the house that I haven't really taken any time to relax and get into my music (or post here on the forum for that matter ops: ). That needs to change and change now, so I'm starting a "world...

        B&W 683 vs CM5 Thoughts?
        by Henry982
        Hello everybody.

Even though, this is my first time writing in this forum, I feel already part of it because I have read it uncountable times. Further, I wanted to post the question about how do you feel comparing the B&W 683 and CM5. The reason why I'm asking is because here in...

Power draw of high powered sub in "real world" conditions
        by NMG
        Hey folks,

So I was thinking about upgrading my Paradigm PW-2200 to a Paradigm Sub 12 and I got looking at the amp in that Sub 12. It's rated at 1700 watts "RMS sustained" and 3400 watts "dynamic peak". My initial thought was "good grief, I'd be tripping breakers...

        Thoughts on bi-amping ?
        by Herbonbay
For the last few weeks I've been researching amps to give my recently purchased B&W 804's more juice. I'm using a Pioneer Elite 56Txi that allows me to bi-amp the 804's by using the 2 front channels and the 2 back channels. IMO the difference between 2 and 4 channels is substantial. I've been reading...
