Sorry im starting to fill up page 1 with these n00b questions but I was wondering if sound improves if you use a good amp + computer or just straight up headphone jack to the computer with speakers doesnt make any difference?

Hi all. I'm looking for a _cheap_ poweramp to run my B&W Nautilus 805s, the pre-amp will be a Meier-Audio Corda Prehead pre-amp/headphone amp combo. One of the amps I could find at a reasonable price is a 2nd hand RB-981.
Now, how'd you rate the amp today assuming it is 100% OK?... -
I forgot that I had bookmarked this link for a 150w plate amp for $50 at MCM. I was thinking it might make a good test amp or possibly a computer sub amp.
