Pictures of the twins and the old lady...

    Hi All,

Been sometime since I picked up the twins and the old lady, but I've finally set them up.

I'm still renovating, but I could not resist hooking them up.

Started wiring them up today. Still need to get a new cable for the projector.

    Harman Kardon AVR5550 & DVD30
12 Gauge Wiring & Gold plated plugs

Nice, we know the feeling all to well.

Where are you going to mount the projector?

What stands are those you are using for the centre?

Will you be using spikes with the 803D's?

    Enjoy.

Not sure yet, with a extension on the books for the room I will just put it on the table infront of the lounge.

Once the extension is done I will mount it on the roof.

The stands I purchased from a local electronics shop a few years ago. Got 2 pairs.

      I think they look great.

No, not spikes as I have hardwood floors. I am using rubber stoppers.

        Looks great nick!

Have you played around with room acoustics yet? Speaker placement? Before you get that projector all wired it would be extremely beneficial to setup the speakers for some serious stereo testing. It would be such a shame with all that beautiful gear to spend that labor getting it ready only to find out that your position in the room is far from good ya know?

        Congrats man!

Congrats and hope once the renovations are done they provide many years of enjoyment.

What is the speaker cable you are using?
            Looks like a AVICO cable?
You should try the Chord Odyssey or Super Epic and see if it makes a difference.

Alto: Using a Panasonic AE-500. Only has 800 hours used on it. I've looked at the new models, but don't see the need.

Just ordered the parts for my subwoofer. Going to build one. I've got a friend with a ASW855, when Im done he will bring it over and we will do a comparison.
