Several weeks ago, I asked on the forum if anyone had tried the Lamm 1.2 Refs with 800Ds. I never got an answer so I took a risk and bought a used pair. I am moving from CAM/350s which were very good. I have to tell you there is no comparison. The Lamm 1.2s are incredible... The music sounds like you are listening to it live. Symbols, pianos, guitars all sound real. female voices are outstanding. If you ever get a chance to check them out, don't hesitiate, they are that good. :T

Has any one tried the Lamm 1.2 Ref Amps with 800Ds or 800 series? Just wondering how they match up. They are only 110 watts but all class A and are a hybrid design.04 March 2007, 19:03 Sunday -

I arrived home today from a buisness trip all excited since my 800Ds were delivered while I was out of town... I had the dealer put them in place but not hook them up. I get home today ready for audio bliss... I hook up the system and start to listen to a couple CDs... Something wasn't right... I thought...
