just curious what the retail is on a pair of B&W 703 in canada

They list $4400.

B&W do not have friendly Canadian price lists, like if they still used a big exchange rate like those we had a few years ago.

A 802D is $17000 in Canada and $12000 in the US. Customs are 6.5% and the exchange rate is a lot lower than 1.33 (assuming no customs in the U.S. which would surprise me) so I consider that the pricing is not fair

I bought my pair on 2 Jan 07 for $3700. CAD and was told by dealer that the B&W rep had put a big discount on them to get them selling, apparently the list is over priced and that there is still a strong Canadian dollar. Not sure how true that is........

B&W speakers in Canada are overpriced. You can expect to get 15% discount of the regular price. My local dealer will do 15% discount, no questions asked.
