Whoa! Mere words alone do not begin to approximate any description of that system.

I doubt anyone here could top that system! (Well, unless Steve Ballmer posts pics of his 7 Nautili ... )

I'm with Kobus here - would luv to see pics of the whole thing being setup. And of course, a review after you've had a chance to listen for a bit. I'd particularly be interested to see what you think of Nautilus vs 802D.

          Cheers mate! Good on ya!

Congratulations on your absolutely superb setup, Aldo. Wishing you many hours of complete and satisfying enjoyment.

            :T :T :T

Please could you also tell us your thoughts on the sound of The Nautilus speakers once you've had some time to listen to them.

            Well Done!!

                  Thank you all!
I will take some pictures all the way through the set up, and post the pictures very soon!
As you know to make a good review about the sound of the Nautilus I will need some time to cool down my self and not influence my opinion with what I'm thinking now! And give them some listening hours!

My next upgrade will be to change all to Mcs or all to Classe wich I will decide in the near future depending on wich brand I find better!

                                            Dude..

I just checked back to see if you posted impressions and pics!

                                            Seriously, I need the following:

                                            1. Pics of the setup, and I mean... as many pics as you can post.
                                            2. I want impressions and a comparison vs the 802D and I mean, keep it sane and keep it free from too much "newness wowfactor". I want A/B comparison and pics of the comparo if possible.
                                            3. I want a picture of you smiling while you setup the one and only Nautilus that I know to exist on these boards!
                                            4. Post on audiogon's "All out Assault" system page!
                                            5. Thank you very much!

Only thing I am not sure about is those funny looking speakers that look like a trombone on acid. Whats that all about??

Have you thought about going with bose speakers instead. Sound is probably just as good and you can hardly see them they are so small and cute.

On a slightly more serious note (but not completely serious) this reminds me of a recent episode of Top Gear where the guy drives the dual V8 quad turbo Bugatti Veyron (Aldo has a couple in his garage). Jeremy drives this thing across Europe and is totally blown away. This thing is said to be stupid fast - like think of the fastest car out there and double it. At the end of the show he laments that he will probably never drive one again and that he has most likely driven the best sports car ever. No where to go. Heavy stuff man. At least Aldo will be able to hear and see his speakers any night that he is at home, but the next upgrade could be a bit of a problem.

Back to the car, apparantly Bugatti will make a loss of about 4 million pounds on each car they sell as they cost 5 million each to build and sell for 800,000 pounds. I wonder if it has a B&W sound system - Nautilus in each door and two in the boot. :-)

Back on topic, looking forward to seeing those pictures Aldo.

                                                        Thanks!!!!!!!
Yesterday I finally got them, the unpacking process was very slow! We (four people) end to unpack them at 11:00pm and my house now looks like a showroom (NOT GOOD) everything is so tight!
I took some pictures from the unpacking process and I promes to post them tomorrow morning.
The only thing that I can say for now is that there are NO pictures to describe how this speakers look, even I search all web for every image available I never though how beautiful they look.....Now lets se how the sound, tonight I will set them up!

The speakers came in two extremely large crates, like the ones Arqueologist use to carry Tutankhamen's sarcophagus and one small crate containing the base stones wich weight 50kg each!

A perfect speaker would be the one who adds or substract nothing from the original recording, and the best speaker B&W has today in terms of frequency deviation is the Nautilus. At least that's what they told me!
Each driver is mesured individualy, and corrected via the cross over for any deviation from the standard.
Each speaker and driver is individualy numbered and tested with and without the cabinet.
In the manual I received the frequency responce for each one of the 8 hand numbered drivers!
All these years and they only handmade 300 pairs.
They told me that the tweeters does not need to be changed to diamond because they work in a diferent manner as a normal tweeter, they are more like a piston who dissipate any noise to the back.
I love the Dimond tweeter, PLEASE do not get me wrong...
I'm thrilled by the looks of theses speakers, in terms of look and theory, that why I'm asking you all TIME, to give you a good review, I'm shure they are great, but there are many questions still there!
