I have the following...Anthem AVM20 with B&W 805's, HTM2 and FPM2 for rears. I am thinking of buying an Anthem PVA7 (7x125) and biamping the 805's or should I purchase the MCA50 (5x225)? Purchasing the PVA over the MCA would save me about $600 dollars. Any recomendations/experiences that may help.

I think the 805's are small fo biamplification, If you have big bass drivers in a speaker it's OK to biamp, but with the 805 I think you will blow the tweeter or the mid driver...THAT IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION! -
The only time I bi-amped my 805s was before I had a pro amp. I was temporarily bi-amping them using the A and B channel from my A/V receiver. At that time it made a big difference. The bass became very apparent, and the highs were a bit more clearer. When I got my amp, I tried biamping them again, but it didn't make that much of a difference. I think in my case biamping helped with the A/V receiver because of the lack or real power.
