SMALL room, 602's as surround?

Hi guys,

As far as my previous threads, you can see that im currently building my new HT set-up and i currently have the 602 s3 for the fronts and LCR600 as what most recommed. Within the week i'll be getting the surrounds which most of recommend the 600 or 601 depending on my preference.

As far as the surrounds, somebody in my location is currently selling his 602 s3 at a ceap price, just $80 difference from the SRP of the 600's.

Q: in my relatively small room, (12x9 ft) is it ok to use another 602 for rears or is this something stupid... should i just opt for the 600/601?

BTW: i dont really care about the size, all i care about is the sound it will produce.

Sorry about this, im just tempted w/ the price... hehehe!

For that price, you might as well. Bigger will always be better, no matter if it's only for the rears...

IMO the best surround setup is the same speaker in every location. If you are into multi-channel music its the best way to go.
