Well I will, officially on friday night, be a new member of the famous B&W club!!

I pulled the trigger on a pair of DM603 S3...I will pick them up on Friday evening!!

brand new, factory sealed...I cannot wait...for them to break in !! :lol: how long is that ?

Welcome... An excellent choice, much underated and fantastic value..

Break in time is subjective - I can hear a difference for 20 hours or so with the 600 series... I know some people say changes continue over 50-200 hours... But you will definely notice a big change after 20+ hours - especially in the sweetness of the trebble and the musicallty of the bass / mid bass

the term "senior member" like you say, has nothing to do with it

I was having a 2ch setup with Energy C-6 towers...

then integrated them in a HT since I lived in a condo and had only one living room...

now with the house, the HT is in the basement, the 2ch is in the living room...the current 2ch hp where the "borowed" C-2' from HT's surrounds...

now, the C-2s will go back to theit original place...

I just got my new 703 speakers and (digital) amplifier, had a first listen yesterday. What can I say?! Amazing! 8O And they haven't had any run in period yet...

Congratulations and take heed of the earlier warning on upgradites! A year and a half ago I bought 603s and a LCR600 for the front of my Marantz based surround system. The love affair with the 603s led to a pair of 602s for the office, DS6s for the surrounds, and a rack full of Rotel gear. The 603s are now living at a friends house to make room for a pair of 804s. I hate this hobby....
