I need to build a stand for my center speaker that can come up from behind the tv and then out over it so the speaker is in line with the tv.
Any ideas? I have 1 idea, and I'll try to get something sketched up to show ya'll what ya'll think.

I have been quietly lurking and reading here on and off for a few years, but post rarely. My initial plan was to build the Statements along with the accompanying center and surrounds, but due to placement issues in my particular room, I do not think that this will be possible. Thanks for the advice so far everyone. I'm tight with space and putting in a a/v rack is not an option. I guess that leaves me with 2 choices: First would be to place all equipment to the right of the television on a single rack. I'm currently looking for some center channel stands because my tv stand cannot properly accomodate the center channel and was wondering if there was a recommended height for the center channel.
