    Dual Center Channels

I find myself with 2 CDMCnt's, and was wondering if anybody was using 2 centers successfully here. I searched the forums but have not found that much on the topic. i have heard that the tweeters can interfere with each other. I was thinking about not running wire to the second speakers tweeter so that they would not compete. Any thoughts? Should I just go with 1?

I think "more" isn't always "better". You could trade the 2 up for soemthing else though.

Or sell the second for something else you need for your system or.......

Two speakers for the same channel will cause nothing but problems. If you can't or don't want to use it for the rear channel in a 6.1 system, I agree, just sell one

Don't let some people on the forum hear you say that, even if Dolby agrees...

LOL! I'll agree with everything OTHER than the 2 girlfriends... that's way more money and work than the best audio system I've heard!

Single vs Dual Channel Measurements, or why friends don’t let friend use USB mics
                by Reet
What does single channel or dual channel measurement really mean, and what are the implications of choosing one over the other? This document aims to help answer this.
Strictly speaking, a microphone is a single channel of audio input, in that it is a mono signal. USB microphones which include integrated ADC and USB codec can be considered a single channel device.

Dual channel would be a measurement which includes a second channel of signal input in addition to the microphone....

                Dual Disc- heavy center channel?
                by bokes
I recently purchased my first Dual-Disc.
I played it through my Denon 3910 and Rotel 1056 using the video 1 setting which I use when watching DVD's.
The disc plays through on all channels and I can hear separation- but the center channel dominates.

                I switched the setting...

                Dual-Differential DACs

                Hi all,

I currently own the RCD-1072 player, and have had it for a few years now. Over the last couple years or so, I've noticed more and more manufacturers in the CD player market (and even some external DAC makers) are incorporating dual-differential design in their players. Basically,...

Why didn't B&W use dual midrange in 800 series?
                by nick.h
Do you guys think that there would have been a benifit if B&W had used dual 150mm (6”) Kevlar cone FST midrange drivers in the 803s and up?

Maybe in the centre channels aswell?
