A friend needs help with B&W 7 series!!!!

I have a close friend Mr. K that has the below system and needs some Urgent help. Could you out there help this friend of mine?? thanks in advance!!!

Hey, could you ask The Forum: With 703's front - ASW750 - N805's surround; would a HTM4S do the job significantly better than HTM7 ???

The price is about half of the HTM3S !!!

If your friend plans to keep the 703s up front, he should get the HTM7, which is of the 700 series, and will be a better match to the 703s.

No, wrong answer imho. The HTM4S is a good 2nd choice center for the 703, but the HTM3S is the better choice (or even better, the older HTM1). The HTM7 is the last choice, it is boxy and not as clear as the 703 FST mid.

I think Czur is right due to the FST. The HTM4 good or HTM3 even better and HTM1 the one and only best IMHO. I forwarded your kind response to my friend with gratitude. Thanks for your kind attention and help.
        Thanks pal,

          hi guys,

think the easiest way to get to the bottom of this is by quick poll

in a system comprising on 703 fronts, 705 surrounds, aws 700 or 750 rear, which center channel would be better suited between the htm7 or htm4s? we have heard a lot of negatives re htm7 (ie, poor...

          Trading in 704s for 703s
          by mrpotto
Ok, so here's what I've decided to do. I'm trading my 704s in for 703s (I have a deal with a local dealer where I get to apply purchase price of 704s towards the 703s so it will be about $800 out of pocket to do so). For now I plan to keep my HTM7 center (I've read on some audio forums that the HTM&...

          Hallo,

          At this moment I have the Htm7 center / 803S main / 703rear / 750sub.

I want change the Htm7 whit a Htm4s. Opinion is Htm3S is the best solution.
Yes I know it. For my "location" is to big (problem with tweeter for Rack) and

          HTM2 vs. HTM4s
          by kylek100
Right now, I've got an HTM7 center. I paid about 750 for it I believe. I am going to be upgrading my 602 S3's to 805S in about a month. I like my HTM7, but i notice areas of improvement in the sound, and I realized that for only maybe 500 bucks extra I could trade in for an HTM4S which I hear is a significant...

How well does the HTM4s or 3s match the 703 speaker
          by B&W 700 Guy
I have not listened to the HTM4s or 3s matched with 703 speakers. I have seen a few posts on 800 Series speakers matched with a HTM7, but, not the 703's with the 800 Series Center Channel Speaker.

          Has anybody tried this?

PS: what is the MSRP of a HTM4s?
