Where did the french get their ideas from?

I am sure you'll appreciate these exceptional designs, somehow a little familiar to many of us, but also sufficiently different to make us think.

The tweeter and mid-driver are unsurprising, but the "flow-port" is a shock: the aim is similar, to reduce turbulence, but the design does not involve the familiar "golf-ball dimples".

These guys are university tech-heads, and have developed technology "without considering costs". Available in "pro" and "consumer" models.

In Paris, you can compare these to our B&W friends, if you wish.

Newly designed shuttle engines or something Madonna would wear.

Hmmm... I agree with the word "exceptional". IMO, the "concept speaker" looks like an old fashioned 1920s movie camera, with a roasted Rotisserie chicken on top.... :B

Your signature reminds me of a joke by a female comedian whose name I can't remember: "When life gives you AIDs, make lemonAIDs."

acording to that page they brought those speaker (with that shape) out in 2000. B&W launched the Nautilus 800 Series in 1998, so that would have B&W with the shape first. Just an observation.
