    How to bypass the overlaod protection 801's series 80

    I have read on numerous occassions that bypassing the overload protection on the B&w 801 series 80 would enhance the quality of the music. can some one give me instructions on how to do this if you have done it before.

    I had an opportunity to hear the B & W Nautilus 801s at a local hi fi store this week. My first impressions were that they were very good speakers. Retailed for around 11K I think.

    They sure were LARGE. Very formidable appearance. Not sure the look is really up my alley, but I guess...

    I purchased 801 series II that have been upgraded to series III. I am driving these with a Hafler Dh-500. I was in heaven for about two months and I now have a distortion on the left channel. in the woofer and is extreme. does this mean the driver or cone needs to be replaced? any input here is...
