I got my htm stand for my htm1 as a dealer floor model and it was already assembled. I read somewhere that it is tiltable, but I do not see how. Can you tell me what I need to do to tilt the speaker up a little? My dealer said if I am missing any parts, he would get them for me.

There are 2 plastic "wedge caps" that come with the stand.
If you screw the top metal plate straight to the legs you get 0 degrees of tilt. If you put the plastic wedge caps on the legs before screwing on the top metal plate they tilt the speaker. There are 2 different ways you can position the caps, one way giving more tilt than the other. The FS-HTM manual tells you how much tilt you need depending on your distance from the stand.
Let me know if you don't have the manual I will see if I can find where I put mine.- Bottom

Here is the section of the manual describing tilt (without actually using any words  ) The caps I mention are part "E". They give 4 degrees or 8 degrees of tilt depending on which way you turn them. The chart then shows, based on the height of your ears and your distance from the speaker, which orientation to use (or if you shouldn't use them at all).

Unfortunately there are no dimensions for it in the owners manual.
I can tell you the with and depth are identical to that of the NHTM2/HTM4S speaker. So that would make it about 19 inches wide and 11.5 inches deep.
I think its about 12 inches tall which then puts the tweeter of the NHTM2/HTM4S at about 24 inches. The NHTM1/HTM2S/HTM3S are a bit taller than the NHTM2/HTM4S, so I would approximate that the stand puts their tweeter at about 26 or 27 inches high.- Bottom

by tdicipleHi all,
I need some info regarding HTM3S or HTM1 stand. The FS-HTM. According to some website, they say that it can be tilted for between 0-8 degree. Is that correct?
Can anyone out there whom have the HTM3S verify this?
Also what is retail price for this...-

by nikosI'm in the market for a center stand for the HTM2D
I currently have it on a rigged up stand that is pretty ghetto
A APC-1500 UPS box, (with old heavy APC inside to make it stable) covered with a black cloth.
This was a very temporary solution...-

by BlazarI have been trying to decide between the htm1 and the htm2...
The main issue is that I would need to spend a ton on a new tv stand (45" widescreen lcd) or buy a new TV and mount it on the wall in order to get the htm1 to fit comfortable on a stand with any other gear.
