    Bi-wiring: two vs. four

Has anyone compared using internally bi-wired cables (four connectors on one end, two on the other) to running two separate cables? While there's certainly a $$ cost difference, is there a sonic difference?

From what I have gleamed from this article there is a difference in bi-wiring to speakers that have are posts for it.

But if you are running 2 wires to the same posts the only advantage is the reduced resistance which could have been had by running a heavier gauge wire.

      Hello,

Have some questions for you Rotel folks. First, some background. I am in the middle of having built our HT/Family Room. The room measures 25x13x8. On one end is a gas fireplace and custom cabinets/shelves. The other end is an open staircase an half wall to the main level.

      biwiring B&W speakers....?
      by BlazeMaster
Hi, I've had my 600s series for a while and just noticed something today on the websites user manual section. I had them birwired since this June and just noticed the part where they showed that the gold bars or links that connect the post should be removed when biwiring. I've had my linked for about...
