    In wall L-C-R speakers

Does anyone have anything to say about the mid priced in wall speakers? Specifically to use as an L-C-R set-up. My wife hates the look of my Matrix 803 series 2 but likes the pretty colors on My Mcintosh MHT 100. Trying to compromise here.

I used the CWM800 as surrounds in my last house, and they were great in that application. I don't really know their abilities as a front stage, but I would expect them to be rather limited. I think they willl probobly fare better than a HTIB, and if you are going for the stealth look, may not be a bad option for HT, but will be quite weak for music IMHO.

What to use for in-wall LCR in theater?
      by seattle_ice
I am in the process of building my theater, and now I need to decide what speakers to use for the LCR.

I am planning on an Acoustically Transparent screen, with the LCR speakers mounted in the wall behind. There just isn't room to do it any other way as the room is not wide enough....

I am fairly new to the DIY home theater scene but as you can see I've dipped my toes and build my first subwoofer enclosure (not veneered yet). Now I need assistance with building a LCR. I don't have space for floor standing speakers so what i wanted to do was build something that I can either mount...
