    Here's my kit.

Here are some pictures of my HT setup, in the next month my new 802D's will be taking the place of the old fronts, and these will move to the back for 7.1.

By the way, when I get bored with watching films, I just open the blinds and look at the view!

That's pretty nice, caleb. Can I come visit you and help you break in those 802Ds?

Caleb, what are those red things on top of your blinds? Is that where the screen is hidden in? The reason I ask is that, I'll have to mount a manual screen over a closet door soon, and just trying to get more options, so it'll end up looking as clean as possible.

caleb, are you going to use the old nhtm1 w/ your new 802d's?

im wondering how well that would integrate. I have been seriously considering upgrading my N804's to 803s's but I could not change my center. The main hold up is basically because I have red cherry and my speakers won't match anymore. not sure I want to do that.
I'm just sittin here watchin the wheels go round and round...

Can someone please explain to me why you refer to your system as a kit? I've been into high end audio for about 10 years and just starting hearing that term in the last couple months.

I guess all hardware falls under the term "kit" these days, we refer to our servers and their accessories as 'kit' now - diving gear etc is also referred to as kit amongst my colleagues and friends?

                  "Get your kit on" hehe
"...if it's too loud, you're too old!"

Hey Paul, I can tell you're a youngster, as in my days it was more of "get your kit OFF!!"

Hi sikoniko, I had originally ordered the new 802D with the new HTM1, but sanity ( and my bank manager) got the better of me, and I opted to leave my HTM1 in place and use the new 802's for the front.

The current 802's will be moved to the back for 7.1, meaning that all 6 speakers will be 802's with the HTM1 for Centre.

I plan to get the new HTM2 probably at the end of the year.

Yes the screen hides behing the pelmet.

It would not be difficult to put a screen on the wall and then make a small pelmet to hide it when not in use.

Paul (ti33er) sums up the situation well.

Kit, gear, equipment are all the same meaning.

I suppose to be correct, I should have said - "Here is part of my home theatre equipment".
