    Totem Acoustic Forrest vs. B&W 703 or 804S?

    Hi,
    I was wondering if anyone has ever listened to Totem Acoustic Forrest and compared to B&W 703 or 804S?

      I have not heard the Totem Forest yet, I may this weekend though as I will be going to the dealer to pickup my replacement 803S's. I have heard from others that they are a cross between B&Ws and Dynaudio in that they are acustically revealing and warm.

          I was wondering if anyone has heard of Onix Reference 2.? How does it sound compared to Totem Forrest? How is the bass in Ref 2?

          I'm trying to compare speakers to upgrade. My range is from 2500 - 2900.

          I listened to B&W 603s3 (too thin), CM4 (nice), CM6 (more bass and the FST rocks) and then 703 (the best by far). When I came back to the CM6, it sounded like well localized boxes and thinner so I won't go lower than 703's. But since they sound very good (for now) on the affordable RA-1062, I can...

          I've got the upgrade itch...

          My dealer is nice about buying back speakers he sold at full retail value as credit towards new speaker purchases.

          Doing the math (keep in mind these are cdn prices) reveals that the upgrade from 703 to 804S would cost me slightly over $1800...
