    need help comparing S3 to S2 600 series

    Hi all,

    From what I have been reading there is a significant difference in the 600 series between the S3 and S2 lines... Most folks here state that the best bang for the buck is the 602, but If you had a choice between the the 601 S3 and the 602 S2, which would you choose and why?

      DM602 S2. The 601 will have you wanting a sub in no time, while a pair of 602's may postpone this desire for a while...

      The upgrade was most apparent between the first serie (S1) and the second series (S2), as it was between these series that the tweeter got enhanced / upgraded...

          As far as my previous threads, you can see that im currently building my new HT set-up and i currently have the 602 s3 for the fronts and LCR600 as what most recommed. Within the week i'll be getting the surrounds which most of recommend the 600 or 601 depending on my preference....
