the new802D&OLD N801

The new 802D&N801.Which one is better?Any common?

I prefer the new 802D, diamond tweeter is the max.The old 801 is in my opinion a very good speaker but I don't like the line.

The best judge is yourself. Many top flight recording studios use the 801. That alone says something. Bass output on the two are vastly different. Listen for yourself and decide. Prices are so close, your own ears should be the only deciding factor. And no offense to anyone- but you are asking for opinions on two speakers that very few people have ever heard. The 802D is very new and very expensive and the 801's are probably the least purchased of the Nautilus series.

Ive been a proud owner of N801 in 6 years now, heard the 802D a couple of times, to my ears theres is no competition, the extra money to 802D is very very well spent.

Haven't heard the 801 but from a looks standpoint, the 802D sure looks better.
