    At Last!!

    My new ASW850 arrived last night - so very tired this morning.

    My local dealer got a great deal from the importer and passed a 25% reduction through to me for BRAND NEW in the box!!

    It replaced the Paradigm servo 15 and already I can hear the difference.

    Also improved is the WAF as this beautiful cabinet has been much better accepted than "THAT BIG BLACK BOX"!

      I too just purchased a new ASW850 last month and am quite pleased. B&W doesn't get many accolades for their subs but I thought it just as good as M&K, Revel, REL etc. Seamless with my 802's.

          Congrats on a great addition to your system. My 850 with its cabinet matching my 803's was a welcome aesthetic addition as far as my wife was concerned. As far as I am concerned, it sounds superb.

              Hi,

              I'm in the market for a subwoofer and looking at,

              1. ASW850 $2,500 (S/hand)
              2. Velodyne DD18 $4,500 (S/hand)
              3. ASW855 $5,200 (New)

              The ASW850 is the cheapest option, is there much difference between that and the ASW855? Any owners of both...

              Watched A New Hope last night, and boy do I feel sorry for my neighbors. They have not said anything to me about watching movies, but I can only imagine what it must feel like in their apartments.

              The 850 had everything in my apartment that could shake, shake, rattle, and almost fall....

              Yesterday I brought home a classe CA-3200 3 channel amp for my L/C/R.

              Can't find the camera to take a picture, but it has begun the break-in process...

              I would like to comment on the previous amps.

              Before I was using NuForce Ref9's to power my B&W N802's....
