    New Nautilus subs

    Hi
I am planning to eventually buy one of the new Nautlius subs, either the ASW825 or 865 (my dealer can give me the same price for an ASW825 as a 800). The larger ASW850/875 is not an option for me, since the room where I will be having my homecinemastuff in is not so big.

As I understand the 825 and 865 subs are have the same physical size, the major difference is the digital room correction in the 865. I've heard that the price difference is around 400-500 EUR, so the question is if the 865 will be worth the extra money compared with the 825? And I have also a question about the availibility of the new subs with room correction (ASW865/875), I have read somewhere that they will not be released until later this year, anyone heard anything else? All comments and thoughts are appreciated.

    Cheers

    TC

800 Series Subs - New Models?
    by texasbwfan
I've seen mention of an 865 and 875 possibly to be released later this year by B&W. From what I've seen and read, it appears as though B&W will be adding room correction functionality to the existing subwoofer offerings and will be badging them under new names. Does anyone have any additonal...

    Upgraded from ASW675 to ASW825
    by texasbwfan
I finally took the plunge! I traded in my ASW675 for an ASW825. As many have stated on this forum, the difference between the two subs is substantial. The 805S / HTM3S / ASW825 combo is simply fantastic. While I don't have the audiophile experience as most contributors on this board...I will share...

    ASW750 Vs. ASW825 which one?
    by Ash
    Hey Guys need your help,

My next upgrade will be the sub. I have an ASW1000 which i'm not very happy with, it gives boomy and undefiened bass. I'm not saying its a bad sub, but it's not that great, especially with music. It's either too low (to avoid the excessive boomyness) or out of...

    ASW 855 vs ASW 875?
    by Juan Cortez
I am trying to decide wheather the extra $$$$ is worth getting the ASW 875 over the ASW855. Should I just save my money and get the ASW 855? Is there really much difference between the 2 subs besides the DSP room correction that the ASW 875 has.

    Thanks

825 sub between pre and power amp
    by Karanthes
I have a Primare SPA21 and A30.2 (surround/power) amps. Have anyone tried using a sub in the 800-series between a pre and power amp? The b&w dealer here said it wasn't optimal, but not surprising had no clue how much distortion or degration of the signal in general I might expect. A mail to b&w...
