IMO, 802Ds are the sweetest sweetspot of speakers in terms of price/performance ratio and music reproduction. Two things that you should have and should not have with those lovely elephants is a large room and no neighbors. If you meet those requirements 802Ds are must buys. However, I don't meet any of those so I settled with 803Ds for now.

With regards to speakers, I am more concerned with the right speaker being too close to the pillar and I might need something behind it to trap the sound.
