My AV Site

I have now build a website of my equipment with the help of Andrew to get me started. It is not the most professional site but it is there and I must learn a lot of things still as I want to enhance the site. (Pics with enlarge links). I hope this thread is not in the wrong place as it is partly website building (off topic) and partly my equipment (AV chalet).

Feedback would be great.

I would suggest you tilt your center channel a bit down at the listening position. If anything you can use doorstops for this or make something out of wood scraps and hinges.

PS -- Good to hear that you plan to try tilting the center. Shane's right -- your center speaker will probably be more effective if tilted forward a bit. Once you do that, you will probably hear more center channel detail without turning up the volume and there will be more of an illusion of the voices in dialog coming from the screen rather than some point above it.

Jason / Andrew. The cat is bigger than normal cats. In our house he is the man of the house if you see how he gets treated by my wife.

The room is not optimal for sound as there is about only reflective surfaces and no absorption. It is also quite big and open plan with the ceiling at one point 4m high. I plan on building a dedicated sound room in 2006. Still a long way to go, but the planning is very exciting. I'll have to compromise as I enjoy stereo alot.

He is quite comfortable with a Catcable around his neck. Luckily i got it back to reconnect to the system. We actually have 4 cats.

We have 3 cats, and 4 sets of Cat Cables (I think, I've lost track).
