Best of luck to our friends and members in the North East during this winter BLAST

I just saw where NY public transportation is shutting down, that is in a 13 county radius in NY.

I am sure other parts of the NE will not be much different.

Stay safe, and stay warm all as you weather this big storm!

I had 37 degrees on the way home, and just as pulled in garage it looked like a bit of sleet on the hood. We could get a little bit of storm here, but nothing like up north, I don't think. I guess I best check the weather though. update, it's now 33 degrees here, and expected to go down to 30 tonight with a 30% chance of snow. Well, that's in Knoxville.

The view is nice and the snow lowers the ambient noise.

      Ha!
Just like the 8 foot pine I had to take to the curb after the holidays.
My favorite part of the season is how a real tree in my listening room smooths out the LF. :W

Looks like we're not going to be hit that hard after all. Should be interesting due to the snow drifts, otherwise, no big deal at all.

I always complained to my ex-wife on how the tree negatively affected the sound of my system. It ruined the balance between the left and right speakers but likely smoothed out the LF part Bill !! :W

Yeah for some reason the tree in Bill's room just works magic! It's pretty cool listening experience! I think it hurts him a little each year to take it down.

We've gotta have close to 10" out there already and it's supposed to keep snowing straight through until middle of the day tomorrow.

Well, the East was not completely spared this winter. last week of February, we got slammed twice in the south. First with an ice/snow storm, then with 6" or so of what wound up being pretty fast melting snow, even at 37-40 degrees.

First of March, we could still get hit again, who knows. I washed the last 2 storms off my Outback yesterday as best I could. It was a lot of salt and crud. Filthy with all the saltwater blow-by from other vehicles all over it as the slush, slop, melting and runoff continued for multiple days.

I saw online clip where some dude had actually built a snow tunnel to his car. I don't know if it was Boston or where he was at. But they literally had to dig his car completely out of the snow. I bet he took a lot of scrapes and scratches to that paint job.

We had another 6" by this morning and it's continuing to snow all day long.

I googled and found out that there's 109,000 still without power as of 8 AM this morning. It was 650,000 at the height of the storm. That's a tremendous load on utility companies, wow.

I hope all of our members in the north faired ok in this storm of up to 38" of snow, wind, and...

We would like to wish our East coast friends, particularly in NY/NJ area well. Many of them cannot log in now, of course, with power out for over 6 million people. I understand at least one person was killed even into Canada as a result of this storm and at least 16 in the US, and our coastal waters,...
