Microsoft Introduces the new Xbox One today

With the introduction, comes word that Stephen Spielberg has signed up to write a live Halo television series, to be produced by some 323 entertainment, or something like that I think.

Big features of the new Xbox are it's interactivity ability with the user, allowing you to voice command TV on, "snap" to Explorer, you can have multiple windows open, all while XBox controls things for you, turning them on and off.

Supposed to be available around the world later this year... Stay tuned Xbox fans!

Yeah it'll be out October or November likely. It's very much intended to fit in between all your entertainment devices and sort of control everything. Looks interesting, the design kind of sucks. The new Kinect looks to be a huge improvement over the old one as well.

Yeah, I saw the Kinect video first, looked very interesting. The first time I watched, it was 2 videos, then when I replayed, it was just the x box intro. I guess you saw both too...

Looks very interesting to me. I'm going to be going for the PS4, I think. The XBox has always been more of an afterthought to me. Regardless, I hope this version is a good one!

I don't know Chris, the Xbox is really going to have some very nice media functions. The PS3 didn't have a very good game collection until just a couple years ago. I'm not sure though, I don't have enough details on either console and release titles to say which I'd grab. Who knows I may get both hah. I did have both a PS3 and Xbox 360 when they were released.
