My weekend with the 1st Marine Division Band

I have some friends that are in the 1st Marine Division Band and they were playing down in Portland, Oregon for the Rose Festival. So I headed down Friday night. These guys are amazing. What they can do is simply fantastic! Oh and they also blow the doors off any party I've been too. We partied every night until 4-6am. Damn that was one fun weekend and Sunday it went out with a bang with taking over the hotels Pool. I recorded just about all of there performances from this last weekend.

Our country's military bands are manned (and womenned) by some of the worlds most gifted and talented musicians. Period.

I have many LP's of jazz bands from all branches of our services, and not a one is any less than spectacular with regard to their precision, arrangements and performance.

I am sure the event you were fortunate to see was no less.
