These guys have done a nice job of refining this concept, but their whole media blitz has really pisses me off. They have been pushing this thing in the tech news for a couple of years now claiming they invented it.

I personally built 2 similar systems in the early 90's, one of which was installed and has been in use in one of our most popular rides since '95. Additionally, this exact concept was used in the first season of SeaQuest DSV as Roy Scheider's AI advisor "hologram" in his quarters.

So for them to claim it is their idea and patent it is really irksome. There is prior art going back at least a dozen years, and they have done nothing to put a new twist on it at all.

Of course, I'm sure none of them have ever been to a theme park or watched NBC prime time, being from Finland.
