It's a gear heads dream and a Theater lovers nightmare. I perfer my gear to be more hidden. Same with all the speakers. Way overkill.

I do however get a bit emotional when I see alot of McIntosh gear....

Pictures on another forum you can clearly see NO cables connecting the amplifiers and speakers...

I just found these two threads and since I'm feeling rather "onery" today, I'm posting this in both:

I think it is just awesome that it's been done. Lot's of people in other forums have been trashing it and him for building it, but you know what? It's his dream. If he has been able to get to the point in his life that he can build it, then let him accomplish it and be happy for him and his wife. I'll never achieve the financial ability to create a theater like that, but I'd surely like to see and hear it in action.

you know looking at that stuff for the umpteenth time, it's kinda funny. you see all this impressive, insane stuff, then you see the dumb old lowly SA8300 HD-DVR :lol:. you'd think there'd be some better options from providers by now!

I agree what ever! This is what happens when you have more money than brain I guess! It looks like a freak cave why not reproduce a mini concert hall and hire real musicians!!
