I only have one six channel analog input that I'm now using for for my Blu-Ray player that I was using for my SACD/DVD Audio. I love the way loss-less movie sound formats sound such as Liner PCM, Dolby TrueHD ect. If you had to choose one or the other which would you pick (Great Movie Sound or Music)?

That's a hard choice. But I separated music from my HT several years ago and use separate components in another room for music listening.- Bottom

If I had to choose, I'd opt for lossless music. Hopefully one is at least somewhat engaged by what's on the screen when watching a movie (the sound is just a part of the experience), while there's no such distraction when listening to music.- Bottom

Why choose? Get a Zektor switch and enjoy both.
BTW, you know what my choice would be if I had to choose.

I spend more time listening movies than DVD-A if I had only one choice, I would opt for movies. Using a switch is an interesting option.

Like many others here, my system is a ‘work in progress’, and asked to perform both 2ch music, multi-ch audio, and HT duties. As such, I have concentrated on 2ch audio redbook performance since it accounts for 80% of its use.
Some day, I hope to have a seperate system for 2ch and multi-ch audio, and one for HT. I will need a new home first, though :E- Bottom

I like the idea of using the Zektor. No need to choose one or the other.
As for me, I like the thought of using one system for everything. Yes it is a compromise of sort..but that will be the case in any system install. Being able to enjoy all of my media/software at a central point, is very enjoyable for me.
I guess it just comes dowm to, what works for you. If having your music and movies in different systems works for ya...I say go for that too! I'm fortunate that, my ears get pleasure with both from the same system."I have come here, to chew bubblegum and kickass. And I'm all out of bubblegum!!!"- Bottom
