    Scary Monsters

I was watching a horror flick the other night and it got thinking about what monsters scared me the most. Some that I can think of off the top of my head are ( in order of scariness):

    THE WOLFMAN:
This hairy beast scared the pants off me when I was a little tyke.I still find him scary.
    ALIEN:
The monster in this flicks still scares the daylights outta me.

    THE THING ( Original ):
This guy ( Matt Dillon of Gunsmoke) was very scary.

    EXORCIST:
    The voice... the voice... brrrrr...

    What are yours ?

Definitely, the critter from Alien. From childhood it has to be the birds from Hitchcock's The Birds.

The only movie that ever really scared me was Salemns Lot.

The scene when the dead brother scratches at the window. That always sent shivers down my spine.

in order for a movie to scare me it has to have one thing "isolation". You can't run, you can't hide you have to deal with the creature sooner or later . For me the creatures in Alien and the Thing (198? version) were scary and you definately had to deal with them sooner or later or they would deal with you.

Mike Myers in the original halloween was pretty scary too.

The monster magic of the Disney-Pixar computer animated film Monsters, Inc. worked wonderfully at the theatres last year. Now it's even more fun on DVD.

There's another world inhabited by monsters that come out of the closet at night to scare children. They don't do this to be mean, but to capture the scream energy from childeren to power their world. The other thing is, the monsters are just as scared of children. The story follows the top monsters,...

This is by far the best transition from an older movie to blu-ray!

I received this blu-ray box as a gift a few weeks ago. Hadn't really had a chance to watch it until last night. I watched Alien and Aliens (the second movie) last night. Man... this was a very impressive transfer to...
