    looking for a turn table...

    hey all,

    so who knows what about turn tables? all i know about 'em (technically) is that some are belt driven and some are driven directly by motors under the turn table. can anyone recommend a good turn table? i've seen the nad 533 and it's a beautiful looking unit, but is there anything in its price range that is better or something just as good for cheaper?

          I'm sending two 13m/8640 drivers to Madisound to be re-coned into 13m/8636. The motors are the same and for a few bucks more on reconing I can get the kevlar version that I've wanted to try out.

          Before boxing them, I dissected them to inspect the motors. I thought that you guys might...
