Haha John and Sili, lol. Sili, you are on your game man!

        Well, considering:

        Home theater dummy
        Home theater moron
        Home theater idiot
        Home theater Steve Martin

Steve will be reserved for Sili and Mats, lol. Mats is a huge Steve fan.

Actually, not really sure Sili, but I will investigate my options.

Whats your preference, class clown? lol.

If I keep replying to these " posts" posts I'll get to 100 before too long.

              That's number 9...

Oh God Mats, look what you started? ROFL. These guys always want to beat that novice kind of status by giving each other world news or weather or something back and forth 40 times til they get there, lol.

Actually, I know the alphabet very well:

DTS, DD, DBS, S/N, RGB, WPC, DNR, PCM, THX, HDCD, SACD, CD, MD, DVD, DVD-A, LP, FM, AM, THD, MSRP, LD, VHS, S-VHS, TV, VCR, CRT, LED, EAD, NHT, B&K, D/A, A/D, h/k, RCA, OSD, HDTV, SDTV, DSP, RF, IR, dB, kHz, Hz, EQ, A/V, HT, DAC

In no particular order, of course.

I can't say which post it was that went over 100K, but we did achieve that milestone this week. We are at 100,065 posts right now. Just a pretty impressive number, and something to celebrate!

You can buy or build a class D amplifier based on the TDA7498E for under $100. This will theoretically put out 2x160 watts into 4 ohms, but I wouldn't use it above 2x35 based on the specs for distortion. Lots of (uneducated and subjective) reviews saying this is every bit as good as class AB audiophile...

Who makes really good binding posts that are not ridiculously expensive? I'm building a pair of stand mount speakers right now. I'm putting a lot of effort into the veneer, the finish, and the level of detail to get what I want. I've looked at numerous different binding posts before but none have...

                                  by snmhanson
Are there any obvious (or not so obvious) reasons that make it preferable to go with binding posts over terminal cups or vice versa? Aesthetically, I think terminal cups are a kind of cool solution, but they do require another rather large hole in the speakers which just gives me one more chance to...
