Does Your Wife Clean Your HT ?

Not mine. She sees all those wires and cables and is afraid to touch anything.Like it or not, our HT is my responsibility. Come cleaning time, I'll pop a cd in the Sony 7700 and go at it.
Man, where does all that dust come from anyway ?
My favorite cd to clean by ? Santana's Supernatural.

My wife dusts it but if I want it really cleaned I have to do it myself.

My wife doesn't clean the HT either.
She dusts the speakers, and cleans the TV screen, but thats it.
                  Everything else is my responsibility.
Those gloss black definitives are a dust magnet.

That's exactly why I don't have one, I came home one day and found her dusting my Classe amps, out she went!

Now the maid has instructions to not touch any electronic equipment. Her I think I'll keep.

I have an Infocus 5700 that I have plugged into an outlet in my attic and Im looking for a cost effective way to clean up some of the noise in the picture. Im sure the power is dirty since its plugged next to an A/C unit but that was my only alternative. Are there any budget minded single or double...

This is a Public Service Announcement for those new to soldering.

Whether you are soldering chips to a printed circuit board, or twelve gauge wire to a passive crossover component, you are most likely using flux-cored solder. Flux is a chemical that etches metal and removes corrosion...

Just getting back into LP's. Bought an inexpensive Pro-Ject Debut III. My problem is that I bought a really nice 180gram double LP pressing of AC/DC songs from Ironman2 that sounds great(assuming because they are clean and new). My wife bought a used double LP by Eric Clapton and it is kind of crackly...

The Cambridge Audio 651W is now my new go-to amplifier for small and portable for speaker measurements. I got spoiled by the Benchmark AHB2- the 651W isn't truly an AHB2 replacement, but it's as close as you have any right to expect...
