It's the first official evening of HTGuide.com's operation. We have been casually preparing the site, in live fashion for the last couple of weeks. So, it's entirely possible that a few people may have stumbled on the site in it's developmental stage. Boy, that was ugly at times! lol. Not really, my technical partner really made this phase go smoothly. Kudo's to Mats, the creator of the software. Which as it exists now, was the vision that I had. Ok, it's not all the way there, but it's a start!
The site is relatively simple, but holds a simple power that we put into your hands, to do research, hunt for that great new toy, or just to learn more about what makes home theater, well, home theater. Or even the greatest 2 channel setup that could be created. It doesn't matter if you post regularly at the forum, though we hope you do. We want to become your Audio Video portal of sorts, to all things A/V, and we want to make that experience as fun and helpful as possible.
We the owners of HTG, hope you enjoy the ride. It's gonna be a little slow at first, but once word begins to get out about the services we offer, I think we will begin to see a steady infux of people, here for the benefits that HTG can offer them.
Additionally, we will continually be adding URLs to the database of audio video links. However, if there is a link that you feel needs to be there, please use the submit URL link off the main page to submit the link to our staff for database entry. It's that easy.
FYI, the search engine not only searches the text that is entered for each URL, it actually searches the URLs themselves. That's a nice feature, so if you remember part of a URL, but not all of it. Give it a try!
