    HTGuide gets a plug in HTF newsletter

    I don't know how many of you get the HTF newsletter but they had a nice plug for the HTGuide

    Here it is for those interested:
    =====================
    Introducing HT Guide
    =====================

    HTGuide.com is one of the newest and most unique
    audio video sites on the web! Housing over 800 URLs in
    its database, HTGuide.com is a dream come true for the
    online audio video enthusiast! Whether it's acoustics,
    high end audio, ISF Calibrations, audio video retail
    outlets, or one of many more topics, you will likely
    find it in the Guide. As well, the integrated search
    engine allows you to do queries against the entire
    database, to find a particular product or service.
    All, without searching through meaningless URLs found
    in traditional search engines!

    Coming soon will be a new feature allowing members to
    save any URL in the Guide to their own list of favorites.
    This will allow you to view your list at home, at a
    friend's, or at the office, because it's not browser/location
    dependent! It's all within the Guide.

    So why put it off, come visit www.htguide.com, and see
    what all the excitement is about!

    Thanks Pat, I wonder how this happened anyway? :?

    Actually, as you may have noticed, we are running an HTF banner on our main site right now, a promotional exchange, pure and simple. We said from the outset, that we wanted a friendly relationship with all the forums. So far, we seem to have done a pretty good job at that. You don't have to be a member of HTG Forum to benefit from the Guide. That's why we want friendly relationships with all the forums. Thanks to the membership faithful here, and welcome to any new members!

    Sincerely,

    Lexman
    HTGuide.com Administrator

      Wow, I truly thought this was some sort of an off-shoot of the Home Theater Forum. I had no idea it was a completely separate entity. You guys have done a phenomenal job here!

      P.S. I joined as a result of the HTF newsletter blurb.

        Phase Plug

        A phase plug is a stationary structure placed at the center of the loudspeaker driver's diaphragm, just in front of the voice coil. It is typically a cylindrical or conical-shaped object made of materials like plastic, metal, or wood. The phase plug's design may vary depending on the specific driver and its intended application. Its primary purpose is to improve the driver's performance by addressing issues related to phase cancellation and dispersion. The function of the...

        Any worries/problems using cheater plug?
        by Orange Peel
        When I get my RMB 1095 I want to have it working right immediately, so I will buy a cheater plug before I get the amp, just in case I have the hum people get with this amp. If I use the cheater plug and plug it into the wall socket, what risks do I run doing this? Is it more prone to surging/blowing...

        what kind of speaker plug should I use? (kinda B&W related :)

        Hi,

        In one of my previous posts I mentioned that I moved in with my girlfriend, until my house has become a reality (in a year or two).
        My 802s can fit in the bedroom, but there is no place to put the amplifier near the speakers, the only free place has a door in between the amp...
