I see you have your center speaker for sale. Which maggie did you use for the center?

I replied to your email Anywho I'm planning on using a single maggie MMG as my centre to replace the RVS. he RVS is a GREAT centre as leman will attest to but its not a perfect match to the planner sound

Have many for you tried these? i have a littel Radi Shack amp we could use for them..but, at the risk of sounding really stupid here, where do you output from the receiver?

i went into a tiny independent shop the other day in a neighboring small town (one of those where I'd been by maybe 12 times before he was ever in) and the guy had he had just received in..but it looked to have it's own amp, etc....he hemmed when I asked the price, so I think he got it more for himself. Bet his won't sell for $29 each!!?!

susan depending on what you have for a receiver (pre amp) most people simply use a Y splitter on their LFE out and connect the sub to one side and the shakers to the other. As for power these little beasties don't require a lot so that RS amp should be plenty for them.

The biggest considerations for me are that I am just about out of space. Just about reached wiring saturation, and just about broke as a convict, lol.

It would be fun to try these though

Cracking/Popping sound from Jeff Bagby's Baby Boomer
                      by daniel4381
I bought a Baby Boomer Subwoofer kit from Meniscus with the PR option ( http://meniscusaudio.com/baby-boomer-p-1389.html ). I have constructed the cabinet exactly according to the build plan.
MDF is 3/4 inch all side except the front baffle is 1" (two 1/2 inch MDF glued togather). Inner...

I couldn't resist Zaph's latest blog where he mentions the PE buyout of the MTMs. I bought five of them with the belief that they will make a good present for someone. I hope John comes up with a nice inexpensive crossover for this project. Is anyone else going to buy these? Jed, you seem to be...

Hi there. Most people on this board seem to be interested in building speaker enclosures from raw MDF or plywood, whether the designs are their own or those of more experienced designers on the forum. I am going to try posting a hack to a commonly available commercial speaker. Not all of us have the...

                      by tboooe
Hi, so I am in the market for some new floorstanders as an upgrade to my recently sold 805S. I have already budgeted money for either the 804S or 803S. While auditioning both I also listened to some other speakers, just to make sure I truly wanted to stay with B&W. Of course there are many other...
