    Your killing me!

This is part of my (practical) Dream system.
I would easily trade every piece of equipment I have right now for that set-up.
    Full review from Stereophile...
It even has a V good phono section! Stereophile Follow-up Review

Only thing you would need is a good phono section as I hear their's is not worth it (which is contrary to what you've got in the stereophile).... but to get a good phono pre and hook it in through one of the input.... would make it an easy choice.

Plus, if that isn't WAF approved, then I don't think ANYTHING ever will be!!!!

If I could get the same level of performance, but had to pay more, I would still go with the one in the Devialet just to keep everything in one box.

Well, it certainly is pretty... Can see there's a very high WAF factor, and the engineering looks better than B&O in terms of the measured results!

I should probably, in the interests of diplomacy, leave it at that, and not bring up the measured performance of Hypex nCore 400 modules, or what they cost... Which isn't cheap for DIY, but is very inexpensive compared to the Devialet; but will allow me to use my retro R2/R ladder DAC with it, unsullied by conventional chip solutions.... :W . And it shouldn't be hideously ugly, either, considering the pair of chassis I bought for it, to build mono blocks.

Now if only I could find some time to put them together! But first to finish the Isiris...

It's been a long day at work, and a long month! (7 days a week does that to you!) So, irascibility won out over diplomacy... :

Compare to the Stereophile measured results. :T

DIY RULZ! (well, not really much in the way of DIY, as the modules boards are completely assembled and tested by Hypex...) :W :B

Imagine one each of these nestled next to each Isiris...
