Hello! Sometime in the near future my wife and I will be purchasing a new home. I wanted to start to gather information on designing and building a home theatre room for my family. Does anyone have recommended readings or monthly magazines they suggest for completing my project?

Well, you will want to check out our own Chris D's articles in Home Theater Buider. He's not finished yet, it's an ongoing article, so you'll want to get all the back issues to read from the start.



I always enjoyed looking at audio video interiors just for design ideas.


Of course, most of the A/V mags have something of value, includind Sound and Vision, SGHT, etc...

Go to the Cinema Source library section and you'll find excellent articles on building your own home theater. Covers just about everything. I have the book these articles came from and learned a lot, especially for setting up a crt projector.
