New Pre/Pro and Amp

just another fool looking for any input i can get on new ht equip.
the 3 setups i'm interested in are:
Rotel 1098/1095
B&K Ref50 and 200.7
sunfire Grand TheaterIII with Cinema7
hoping to pair one of these setups with B&W speakers , maybe the new 700's
any thoughts, opinions ??

Well... ahem... you all know what I'm about to post. I've been VERY happy and impressed with my new Parasound Halo equipment so far. These amps and processors are somewhat in the same range (leading the class) as the other setups you mentioned, which are also solid performers. I'd highly recommend that you look at and consider Parasound. http://www.parasound.com

Nice budget... all the mentioned electronics, including Parasound, will be amazing performers for you... add Anthem to your auditioning while you're at it.

B&W makes fine speakers, but with your ambitious system plan, I highly recommend auditioning a variety of speakers, especially if you do any serious music listening... they are not only the most critical part of the chain, but they vary the most in sonic properties, and are very dependent on personal tastes and preferences... as it's a subjective call, I'm reluctant to recommend brands, but I personally like the sound of Vandersteen, Dali, Totem, Monitor Audio, NHT... and there are many others.
